I'm proud to have pirated Adobe for over a decade, and I'm even more proud to have transitioned to open-source alternatives at every avenue. My only regret is that is that I can't remove Adobe from my life multiple times.

Last week was awful goddamn kidney stone pain.
But if I'm practicing gratitude, the situation was only painful and not dangerous, and pain without danger is endurable.

Last night my furnace stopped igniting, and I couldn't get it fixed after an hour of troubleshooting. Had to run out and buy some emergency space heaters.
But if I'm practicing gratitude, I was able to afford a $100 expense without harm. And my kitties went blankie cuddle-mode with me all night.

When things go to hell, I've been making a point to say out loud "If I'm practicing gratitude -" then say at least one thing I can find to ease the hell. Starting with "If" reduces the pressure to find enough things to "balance it out". But say it loud so that it becomes real gratitude.

I'm trying to go through my giant never-organized piles of camera rolls that I've simply dumped onto my computer whenever I was about to change phones.
Duplicates on duplicates aside - it's nice to be reminded of fun adventures with friends, and that I've taken some genuinely striking photos.
