I do see how the way I worded my first post was dumb. But those art apps are good, and should be available to you. I just can't vouch for if they have some goofy hangups local to ipad vs my android experience.

They are available on the iPad (assuming what I read was accurate, when I checked before suggesting). If they're not in the app store, then I've been misled and apologize.

I can't speak to the iPad experience, but Autodesk Sketchbook is my preferred drawing app. Followed by Ibis Paint for something a bit closer to Photoshop.

My dream car is a Subaru Baja, and every time I say out loud how i wish it would come back, people point to the Santa Cruz or Maverick. like, where did people's sense of scale go? It makes me feel like I'm the only person who remembers the Geo Tracker. Santa Cruz is close... But give me 60% of one.
