Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I think we should be blasting these data from the rooftops.

Because of the environment of information, people think huge swaths of the populace are anti-vax and that’s simply not true.

Pointing out how much they are in the minority is KEY!
Polling showing that a majority of Trump’s voters support vaccines was shared with several Republicans lawmakers’ staffers in a closed-door meeting head of RFK Jr.’s Senate hearing, according to two people familiar with the meeting.
Ahead of Kennedy hearing, GOP saw poll showing Trump voters support vaccines
The poll, conducted by veteran Republican pollsters, found that a majority of Trump voters believe vaccines save lives and support immunizations against measles and hepatitis B.

Also, this badly threatens neurodivergent liberation.

Doubtless not the intent of these specific authors but this whole line of enquiry amounts to divide & conquer

Make autistic activists separate from those with co-occuring learning disability so that they cannot advocate for them.
www.nature.com/articles/s41... A big, well funded team tries to sort autistic people into four invented categories, based on 7 other invented categories. Based e.g. on past research that doesn't say what they allege it says. No inclusion of autistic people, discussion of ethics, human rights, etc.

1. Kevin Gross and I just posted a new science-of-science preprint.

This one explores the looming peer review crisis. As many of you know, it's becoming significantly more difficult for journal editors to find scholars willing to serve as peer reviewers for submitted manuscripts.
Will anyone review this paper? Screening, sorting, and the feedback cycles that imperil peer review
Scholarly publishing relies on peer review to identify the best science. Yet finding willing and qualified reviewers to evaluate manuscripts has become an increasingly challenging task, possibly even ...

Very glad this paper is published, especially in an open science forward journal!

This one means a lot as it triggered so.much.beef. Was often told that I didn't know what I was doing/wasn't going to work - turns out I was right 😜

TL;DR: trust your instincts + rethink using literal competitors
