1/2 I'm confused about the 'sex assigned at conception' executive order... surely at the exact point of conception, the thing is a two cell organism? Made of the dad sperm and the mum egg. There are no 'capabilities' to produce a large or small reproductive cell yet. It's only two cells in itself.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Re: the story with the 'adopted son' prompting you to think the adoptedness was being blamed, I think it was more to 'protect' the parents by highlighting he wasn't 'of their blood' and so hadn't inherited his bad behaviour from them, DNA-wise.
