My political quiz results, where I'm right over in the left apex of the diamond: Your type is progressive. As a progressive you generally embrace freedom of choice in personal matters, but advocate for government intervention to control the economy and to redistribute wealth. You tend to tolerate alternative lifestyles, but favor a government-funded "safety net" to help the disadvantaged or reduce inequality. Most progressives support rigid regulation of business, as well as strict environmental regulations. You generally think the government should actively promote equal opportunity, but you might want some limits on free expression, particularly if that expression is thought to traumatize victims of past injustice.
