This really sums up all my feelings on this whole situation. You can be critical of itch for not speaking out about the situation sooner, but saying “they caved to facism” upsets me. The multi trillion dollar corporations who have monopolized payment processing in America put a gun to their head.

Nintendo sent Scott a Switch 2, Mario Kart World, Pro Controller and Camera for free. He already pre-ordered like 3 of them so we donated this one to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Toledo, Ohio and all played Mario Kart together. HA. Take THAT Nintendo.

It’s not “forced on” it should be noted. It’s part of the game’s design just as much as pixel shaders were part of Half-Life 2. Which, by the way, what people are complaining about is akin to asking why HL2 doesn’t run on a Riva 128 or 3DFX Voodoo card. Same period of time.
