Sad thing is. You can't dismiss it as internet trolls, because you see this attitude reflected everywhere. By fellow academics, people outside of academia, your family. My parents focused on disparaging comments on my appearance or reproductivity, on my graduation day. This is our reality.

Just a reminder, that possibly the oldest piece of palaeoart dates to the Neolithic. The petroglyphs of horned characters with trumpets, recorded on the same rock as a ornithischian footprints (Zagaje Formation) in Poland, might be an early reconstruction of the Jurassic tracemaker.

Have learnt from Andrea Cau that French palaeontologist Philippe Taquet died yesterday, aged 85. Taquet published a substantial amount on north African and French #dinosaurs, including Ouranosaurus, spinosaurids, the dromaeosaurid Pyroraptor and much more.
