Policies do make a difference. Now let's follow the consequences of the new regulations on road user charges
Update today for New Zealand, which was doing quite well until the new government removed all incentives.
S-curves don't model tech adoption when policy shifts so dramatically.

Nothing else has worked, so let's try the tech-based pure fakery...
It's wrong on so many levels, but nothing coming out of the US surprises me anymore.
At 4p ET/1p PT, I’ll have a one of a kind interview with Joaquin Oliver. He died in the Parkland school shooting. But his parents have created an AI version of their son for a powerful message on gun violence. Plus TX Rep. @jamestalarico.bsky.social - see you soon on Substack and later on YouTube.

If you get an emergency message on your phone but dismiss it without reading it to stop the horrible sound, you can access it from the history:
On Android: Settings > Safety and emergency > Wireless emergency alerts > Emergency alert history.

What's happening right now in the USA defies all logic. It's all pure insanity, and so gut wrenching.
The whole world will suffer.
What can we do to help and stop this madness???

This paragraph in @politico.com improved my mood tonight. Thank you.
"The Pentagon late Tuesday said it was unable to confirm reports that North Korean troops are taking advantage of their more expansive internet access in Russia to consume copious amounts of online pornography."

It doesn't appear that last year's foreign interference in #BirdOfTheYear has had a lasting effect on this year's election so far.
But it's not over yet! You have until Sunday to cast your vote.

A bit late for World Albatross Day, but I should mention the recent publication of two of our reports on Antipodean albatross. One on their distribution (fs.fish.govt.nz/Page.aspx?pk...), and a multi-threat risk assessment (fs.fish.govt.nz/Page.aspx?pk...).

Out of frustration, I made a web app to help my commute in #wellington. Maybe you'll find it useful too? dragonfly-science.shinyapps.io/realtime-bus/

It shows all buses, trains, and ferries in real-time. Pick a stop and it will tell you exactly where your next bus is.
