It might be politically savvy but I don’t like that the left is taking the “materialism is good and any threat to the immediate mass consumption of goods is a terrible thing” argument. The tariffs are bad because they increase wealth disparity and were poorly applied, not because capitalism good.
Bessent says that little girls who are sad about having fewer dolls should just have it explained to them that they will have a better life for it

I’m a moderate so I don’t care if ideas are left or racist, it’s just whatever lets me get mad at young people online. I guess mostly racist stuff.
