Countries above have used their resources to benefit their citizens (while continuing a high tax regime).

Australian govts hv squandered Australia's resources to enrich foreign corporations (while using tax reform as a political football).

And whilst they are there, the govt should be collecting billions for our sovereign wealth fund too (eg Norway)- but no- just giving it away!
Australia doesn't have a gas supply problem, we have a gas export problem.

Good to see the govt considering diverting export gas to the 🇦🇺 market. This should apply to existing projects. There's simply no need for new gas.

Looming east coast gas reserve could cut prices by 20pc
Labor is targeting a domestic reservation system that would ensure enough extra gas to bring down prices but not so much that producers rein in output.

We‘re only fighting over oil…. Imagine how it will go when it’s over food and potable water….
You ever just sit down and realize that the rise of 21st century fascism is capital's answer to climate change?

We are truely governed by idiots….
In an Australia first, I used FOI to get the AI chat logs of Australia's top national security bureaucrat.

They show how he used Microsoft Copilot to ghostwrite speeches and messages to colleagues.

This comes as the government looks to push AI use in the public service.

So the right wing is getting agitated by an editorial snafu in a programme aired in 2024 for statements made by Trump in 2021 which led to an insurrection (as per conviction is the US courts and findings by the US Senate)…

Two-thirds of California's power comes from clean energy.

For 9 in 10 days so far this year, we were 100% powered for some part of the day by clean energy.

The Golden State has become the world's fourth-largest economy because of our climate leadership, not in spite of it.
