Anti-LGBTQ orgs have explicitly stated they USE sports as a "gateway drug" to undermine trans people's rights. They've also said this is how they eventually roll back all progress on LGBTQ rights. Newsom falls for it hook, line, and sinker.

What amuses me is that Gavin Newsome could have probably ridden this shit all the way to the White House if he’d kept his yap close about trans girls in sports. Kamala should pick a woman as VP and continuously talk about what creepy weirdos the GOP are. AOC would be great, but Klobuchar or Warren would also deliver. A two-woman ticket would generate more sustained enthusiasm than the addition of any of the men currently under consideration.
