NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

A. I won't believe anything until it happens. B. I don't trust them to fully depart and leave us in peace. BUT I desperately want it to be true and will rejoice if it is!
Federal immigration agents part of the Trump administration’s “Operation Midway Blitz” may soon leave Chicago, according to multiple sources who said the controversial mission was rapidly winding down after a contentious two months of enforcement raids that have set the city and suburbs on edge.
Federal Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino and agents said to be leaving Chicago, sources say
Cmdr. Gregory Bovino was expected to depart Chicago within days, while most Border Patrol agents under this command would soon be redeployed elsewhere, three sources told the Tribune Monday.

The first episode of The City That Votes TV show is now live on CAN-TV! A big thank you to Giovanna Carrillo for serving as our first guest - we had a great conversation about recruiting election judges and the Board’s role in connecting with our city’s many communities.

My latest is a love letter to Chicago. "I see you stumbling through the stubborn, awkward rhythm of showing up, again and again. I see you fighting alongside people who sometimes frustrate and confuse you, and defending neighbors you may have never met, because you know they’re all your people."
In Chicago, We Run Toward Danger Together
"Faced with unrelenting state violence, Chicagoans have refused to be cowed," says Mariame Kaba.

have been eagerly anticipating this @carolinehaskins.bsky.social scoop on mark zuckerberg's illegal school based on 1,600 (!) pages of docs she got and it does NOT DISAPPOINT:
Mark Zuckerberg Opened an Illegal School at His Palo Alto Compound. His Neighbors Revolted
Neighbors complained about noise, security guards, and hordes of traffic. An unlicensed school named after the Zuckerbergs’ pet chicken tipped them over the edge.

can't wait to see this. Bi Gan is one of the most exciting filmmakers working right now, highly recommend watching Long Day's Journey Into Night if you haven't seen it yet.
Trailer for Bi Gan’s RESSURRECTION. It takes place over 100 years of Chinese history in stories about all your senses, it’s about a monster & movies & love and how we somehow invented a strange method for sharing dreams.
