Software engineers are losing their minds over Claude Code and agents.
Campaigns shouldn’t shrug. The story isn't “AI can code”, it's AI can do knowledge work, and campaigns are mostly knowledge work.

Campaigns Are Knowledge Workers and the Tools Just Caught Up
Agentic AI can change campaign operations. The organizations that outlast November need to lead.

I once had a dude tell me he personally saw Hillary Clinton be mean to the Secret Service. This was just a regular guy who lived and worked in Ohio. Turned out he was just reciting the Fox News outrage of the week as his own personal anecdote.
If someone with conservative politics tells you a story that affirms their conservatism, they made up that story. They lie so much it doesn't feel like lying to them. This behavior is what their leaders have cultivated and it is in full bloom. Do not believe anything a conservative says to you.

Standing outside the 2024 Democratic National Convention, I pulled a colleague aside & lamented, "I don't know how to do this work when a stadium full of the world's proudest Democrats are more excited about a fake Beyonce/Swift rumor than about the actual candidate." And that wasn't about Harris.
“I must be entertained to vote against fascism” Is that so?

“What happened to my 24/7 diner?”

Tisha was finally able to tell her boss she didn’t want to work the nightshift anymore and he couldn’t find anyone to replace her so he agreed to close the diner at 11PM so she could go to bed like a normal human being.

Everyone in 2017 wanted a $21 minimum wage until they found out what it did to their cheap burrito.
Poor people finally got some bargaining power, demanded better wages and the middle class was FURIOUS that fast food prices went up

jokes aside re: “token anxiety” the main reason I don’t have Claude on my phone is because I like being able to step away; the past 4 months of X/HN “I built this on my phone while getting coffee” sucks, actually

Have you ever seen a Rocket Money ad? Their entire business is based on the idea that no one is paying attention to what they buy.
I'm a financial advisor.

Humans are *very bad* at tracking, contextualizing, and understanding spending.

Like 80%+ of my clients who claim to live "paycheck to paycheck" have also immediately upgraded [car/house/electronics] significantly after minor pay increases.

One of the AI Companies has been branding itself for the past few years as the Ethical Choice For AI That Does Good and it’s really funny how much of Tech has fallen for that (again).

It's encrypted in transport to OpenAI, who, of course, rubs the model on the unencrypted audio of your voice. They didn't homomorphic encrypt the matrix multiplication.
