imo not a matter of it looking bad, more that it robs the game of the aesthetic qualities the original had

the hyper realistic lighting isn't meant for the ishimura's locales, it's all meant for that harsh baked in stuff of the era, so there's a ton of details and text/details that gets hidden or is nearly unreadable

i caved and used an old unfinished lucy model in blender, her height measurement is correct so there's little room for error apart from old stylistic choices maybe making her bigger/smaller than she is today
