Because while soulslikes are excellent at the whole boss aspect, I feel they're also excellent at the 'exploring a dangerous environment' aspect; and that could honestly use some love.
The whole 'reset at bonfires' and 'shortcut unlocked' systems are my fave bits of a souls...

I still wanna see somebody make a soulslike without bosses; so all the focus is on exploration and interesting mob placement throughout.
