It was the easiest, one question, open book test in American history. And we are all suffering due to their failure. I will never forget, and never forgive the people who did this to us.

Trotz? TROTZ?

The obvious advantage of streaming over movie theater movies is you can watch them at home. The secret weapon of the streamers, particularly when it comes to movies where the characters have strong accents: subtitles.

This isn’t the female gaze. This is the male gaze. It’s men who are obsessed with the physicality of other men. Women, in the main, would much rather see a man who looks like he’d make himself a stack of buttered toast and let you steal a slice

I’m no psychologist but I’m pretty sure reading synthesising, critically analysing narratives and using evidence to write them also builds our brains. This will just make the world stupider, which doesn’t seem wise in the present moment. If it ever was.
I did this before in German but I guess today is a good day to compile English resources on why AI isn‘t actually intelligent and also a real danger: 🧵

I think it’s fine to bully people for reading Harry Potter in 2025 actually

If you want to read your old Harry Potter books, you should do it in secret and shamefully - you know, in the way that J.K. Rowling wants to force trans people to live.
