Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

I don't have ACA health insurance. But I want everyone to have health insurance. I know that it's the moral thing AND it's good for the economy. I want my tax dollars to support healthcare, and food assistance, and public education.

Starting Nov 1, SNAP benefits will be delayed in Georgia. This admin could send out benefits if they wanted to but they are CHOOSING not to. It’s a craven attempt to gain leverage in their fight to rip health care away from millions. I will fight this.

Dear Democrats in Congress: stop talking about the shutdown about the ACA subsidies. Start talking about passing a real budget through regular order. GOP wants another 50-vote reconciliation to kill housing and other programs. Make 3 gov branches work fairly.
