If that's really what he believes, then maybe Ferrari should stop signing world champions and start advancing more drivers through their own ranks to the main team.

This! It’s damn near impossible to watch each race every weekend, or even keep up with it. There’s no need to gatekeep or criticize people because they aren’t spending their weekend watching every hour of every endurance race under the sun.
