People gave everything for the labor rights we have today.

We must continue the fight.

And a special thanks to countless women whose invisible labor built the world, the economy, and the cause.

The House has passed the SAVE act, which will disenfranchise 21 million voters if turned into law.

This is a despicable, anti-democratic, and deliberate attempt to take votes away from women.

Maryland NOW is boots on the ground at the Hands Off! protest.

There are so many groups from several walks of life. This protest is truly a humanitarian endeavor. We are so proud of everyone who came out today. 🙌🏼💯

Let’s do it again!

The U.S. Congress was not built with families or women in mind.

This needs to change and we have a bipartisan way to do it.

We want to make Congress more representative of the American people.

Not sure about the rest of y’all but when us regular folks (ie not billionaires and oligarchs) make an “administrative error” at work we:

1. Apologize
2. Fix it
3. Have talks with colleagues to figure out what went wrong, learn from it

It’s straightforward.

This is happening to our own, in our state.

It’s the responsibility of the state to prove the accusation - not to demand proof of the negative. That’s illogical. Demanding everyone prove they’re NOT guilty is chaos, and takes away the possibility for any semblance of fairness between parties.
EXCLUSIVE: The Trump administration has acknowledged that it grabbed a Maryland father with protected status and mistakenly deported him to El Salvador—but claims that courts are powerless to order his return, @nickmiroff.bsky.social reports: theatln.tc/Bot5mE4O

Sorry we missed equal pay day! We were all out providing our labor for a fraction of its value. Here’s some things you can do to help the fight toward equal pay:

1. Share pay information with colleagues (see the NLRA first)
2. Learn tactics for salary negotiation
3. Pay people more

So we have a president directly threatening students for fulfilling their constitutional right to free speech.

F that. No one man gets to decide how and when we have access to our freedoms.

Students: know your rights.
Know Your Rights | Students’ Rights | ACLU
The Supreme Court ruled in 1969 that students do not "shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate." This is true for other fundamental rights, as well.
