Watching #FAcup Aston Villa vs Newcastle with no VAR. Looking at the errors, especially by the assistants, is there a risk that they become so dependent on VAR normally that they lose their sharpness and hence make more errors?

Just listening to Kate Nash on itv news discussing impact of Brexit and large companies on grass roots music. Well done Kate. Same old story of Brexit and greedy large companies impacting low paid workers and culture. Labour government please support them and make changes.

Raises profound q’s about how factual evidence is communicated to the public. Democracies are too easily destroyed by dis/misinformation (see the USA today). Objective academic voices are vital but not cutting thru.

Ukip have submitted a new logo and slogan to the Electoral Commission, swapping the £ pound sterling symbol for a cross, that looks very much like it is modelled on the Iron Cross used by Prussia & Germany 1871-1918 and Hitler's Nazi regime from 1933-45

A great move and a great player. However it's poor preparation, a hopeless plan with a spinner (too young, inexperienced), lack of flexibility, few quality seamers, relying on Archer and unlucky with Woods - that have exposed England. Australia are a great team at home.

Of course he does. Only real support - hardware, guns, drones, rockets etc - will affect the war and then the tide. When he's losing he'll negotiate or face pressure from within.

It's clear now that Starmer and Reeves don't have the brains and the balls to make the big decisions on the economy and are wasting the great opportunity the Labour movement have to address the years of Tory greed, incompetence and mis-management.
