There's a difference between fielding a weak team due to poor planning and deliberately to lose a match. Plus there's the element of pride. No team wants to be the worst ever and hence take Derby's mantle.

This would be considered unsportly. against the spirit of the game and unfair on some sides. May be illegal. Fines could be a punishment for deliberately fielding a weakened team.

Not sure of your point here. If something is morally wrong and harmful it should be addressed. Otherwise these things will go on and on. Such things improve our moral basis and our society. Not everything is about addressing the top issues.

Folk are over thinking this. The reason why most people stay on X, especially those in entertainment, sports etc, is simply that they're terrified of losing the many followers they have. Sometimes this is millions built up over 10 to 15 years
