The No Banned Books demonstration I help plan is satisfying. There's interaction with 100s of people from around the world in front of NYPL on 42nd and 5th. Librarians and teachers thank us and talk about their struggles with banned books. Some passersby are shocked that books are banned at all.

A plenary power or plenary authority is a complete and absolute power to take action on a particular issue, with no limitations...
Not Stephen Miller accidentally outting the regime in an interview. Let that "plenary authority" claim slip right out and then had to act like the audio cut out.

Sir! We heard you.. and the President does NOT have plenary authority.

I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America

Sad that we have to protest outside 26 Federal Plaza, NYC because the federal government is attacking journalists and sending them to the hospital, but we do and we will.

This is the playbook, folks.

If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, then you're going to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.

Do not be quiet in this moment.

This has been coming from the beginning. All major democracy-supporting NGOs and foundations have their legal complaints already drafted. And in time, perhaps not even much time, they will win their cases. What is needed most in the meantime is courage. Keep saying what you think, doing what you do.

Protesters in NYC blocked the street in front of 26 Federal Plaza—where ICE is inhumanely kidnapping and detaining people—to demand their release.

Refusing to budge until people were released, more than a dozen protesters were arrested by the NYPD while they screamed, “Let them go, or we stay too!”
