The No Banned Books demonstration I help plan is satisfying. There's interaction with 100s of people from around the world in front of NYPL on 42nd and 5th. Librarians and teachers thank us and talk about their struggles with banned books. Some passersby are shocked that books are banned at all.

Sad that we have to protest outside 26 Federal Plaza, NYC because the federal government is attacking journalists and sending them to the hospital, but we do and we will.

Today NYers protested outside the El Salvador Mission to demand that all CECOT detainees be returned safely to the U.S., and that all detainees be allowed to argue their right to stay in the U.S. with due process. We also demand that El Salvador refuse to accept any additional detainees from the US.
