My therapist had me do RLE so I ended up transitioning socially way before I was ready. I was out to different people at different times and had to navigate that shit when my dysphoria was at it’s worse and my brain felt like it was on fire before I learned about informed consent.
hrt isnt scary, rle is fuckin scary, thats what kept me in the closet until i was almost 30, they still make people do it some places, like how many trans women heard about informed consent for the first time in the late '10s and went "oh shit for real?" and got on estrogen within weeks or days
