Today's puzzle - spot the accidental decrease. 🧶 #crochet
A crochet work in progress that looks like knit stitch. The yarn is a reddish brown. A hand and a wooden yarn lazy susan (I don't know what they're called) holds down the piece of work. The stopper at the end of the Tunisian crochet wire is a glass mushroom bead.

They intentionally would do additional decreases in the heels, so that the socks would ALWAYS rub and give the officers blisters. They would also make sure that one of the socks had loose ribbing so the officers would spend all day having their sock fall off in their boot. I learned reverse knitting on a whim last month. Didn't think I'd use it often, but ended up using it on both my sweater and Hoodola. 🧶 So much easier on my hands than purling.

I won German twist cast on by a mere two inches. I don't think I'd call that a win, though. 🧶 #knitting
Knitting needles with yarn casted onto them. There is two short inches of yarn hanging by a thread to the end of the cast on.

The marled yarn in this swatch is four plied with naturally colored cottons. No dyes. If you've never heard of color grown cotton, it's super fascinating. Sally Fox started growing in the late 80s and produced the first clothing usable naturally colored cottons.
