Most people online has seen this photo over the past 24 hours, but I don't think everyone knows the details of Liam Ramos' arrest alongside his father.

ICE detained his father and then had this 5 year old knock on his own door and call out to anyone else who might be inside.

Liam Conejo Ramos, 5, and his father were detained in their driveway after returning home from the child’s preschool, according to the Columbia Heights Public School District. The Department of Homela...

My brain likes to replay that ICE slipping on ice video.

It was the way the ridiculed bully RAN AWAY after he got embarrassed. He was running all gung-ho, wiped out, and couldn't withstand the laughter.

Full grown man with less emotional regulation than your average child. A thin-skinned goon.

🥲💗
I know people keep saying this but it’s hard to communicate the depth of active resistance here. Like, I’m on random cafes and people are checking in for observation shifts. Signs everywhere. Folks in visibility vests on the corners. It’s wild. Absolutely wild.

Btw, the 4th Amendment has been tossed into the endless dumpster fire.

Break the constitution some more, why don't you?

The word salad here alone should trigger the 25th Amendment.

But of course that's not happening.

p.s. The transcription below is a bit off but it captures the gist of the clip. Watching it is hard to stomach.
Q: What goals do you have for '26 in Congress for your agenda?

TRUMP: I have great executive orders. Like, water coming out of a sink. The water wouldn't come out. They had all sorts of restrictions. I took them off. Straws. They don't have to be paper anymore. I'd like to have all that confirmed.

Hey, it's a start for one of the world leaders to spell it out.

Far too little too late, but a start.

All the tiptoeing, capitulating, and ducking should've been shelved ages ago. This is a renewed chapter of fascism & nazism being commanded by a mad king.

Speak like it and act like it.
Carney is bluntly telling the world, and Americans, that the post WW2 order is gone and America is left behind.

My body remains confused about temperature regulation after my TT surgery.

Setting my thermostat timer for weekday mornings is the worst puzzle. I wake up either as a human popsicle or an over-baked potato. I'm on my way to fine-tuning it, but it's not a good time. What's my new Goldilocks setting?

I'm being noisy on here because I'm working the holiday and don't have enough work. 😑

I've been to 3 awful apartment tours so far. One guide didn't even show thanks to a virtual assistant bot failure.

I'm most hopeful for the one this Saturday. Please be The One. It should be safer! 😭

Big shoutout to yoga for its brief relief of chronic pain. 🧘‍♀️💟

I hope my next vacation will have a safe swimming focus for a masker like me. It’s the only other helpful pain mgt. tool that worked for me, but then 2020 happened. I miss swimming all the damned time. 🏊‍♀️💙

Hey!!! I’m finally seeing reposts on the main feed I prefer to use! I could only see original posts before and it was annoying to use a third-party app just to view reposts.

Took long enough, but that’s a nice fix to wake up to on a Monday morning.

Had a bad morning because I left the house and people are pure assholes.

I'd rather pay more to live where I feel safe and un-harrassed whenever I head out. But there's ~no better housing~.

Guess I'll play punk music and bake muffins until my tombstone reads: Drowned in Cortisol.

ICE has kidnapped so many people from their cars that the city had to put out this statement. Let that sink in.
Vehicles that are abandoned due to an ICE detention and towed to the City's impound lot will be released to their owners or a representative at no cost.

Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.
"“They specifically asked me if I knew where the Hmong families lived on my street & in the neighborhood.” Lugert-Thom responded, “I don’t know anything about that” & she said they then asked, “Well, what about the Asian families?”"

"“I was a bit shaken & a bit shocked of what I was asked to do.”"
A St. Paul resident says federal officers knocked on her door and asked her to identify Hmong and Asian households in her North End neighborhood last week.
