“May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong side.” - Malcolm Reynolds, Firefly

The willful ignorance is a mindfuck.

Then again, there’s others like Greg Bovino who openly do “Nazi cosplay”. He’s a Border Control Commander in Minneapolis.

Shame. Shame. Shame.

42% voted for this rapey man???

That’s horrifying. He was defeated, but nearly 1 in 2 NYC voters supported him.

America, I don’t get you.

Phew! The 6 monkeys on the loose are not the infectious ones.

It’s no wonder they’re aggressive towards humans though.

I would’ve screamed too.

After a big go of it, I now make it a point to label all new chargers as I get them. I was sick of electronics having issues when I mixed up their exact match (infuriatingly, yes, it matters sometimes 😖).

I was in a foul mood and struggling hard as I trekked to yet another medical appointment this morning, but this made me stop and laugh. This was pretty high up too!

My city’s electrical poles and stuff has been decorated with many anti-ICE and know-your-rights stickers and flyers as well. 🥹

I can’t say this without thinking of this sound bite and scene from Singing in the Rain.

Had to leave this here.

Still noodling around with how I’ll organize it, but here’s another neighbor-threw-this-away thingie.

It was a shoe rack with clothing hooks, but the twin support bars for the clothing hooks were bent.

Disinfected it, taped a tear, and I can unpack some stuff out of bankers boxes and onto shelves.

The angles I'm talking about.

From Heather Cox Richardson's newsletter dated July 23,2025.

Uhhhhhhhhh.... I'm not at all surprised... the point is that I'm jolted through with queasy, squicky feelings and absolute aversion.... and.... UHHHHHHHH....

This summer hasn’t been as brutal as the last two yet, but that doesn’t mean I won’t spot someone’s mini pumpkin garden patch and dream of Fall and Winter.

I’ve never loved America’s intense summers, but with my Graves’ heat intolerance, I’m even more susceptible to a total hatred of extreme heat.

This is why they didn't want Kilmar Ábrego García brought back.

An innocent man can now tell the truth about the inhumane and torturous conditions of CECOT prison in Els Salvador.

Researching healthcare plans and this gem finally made me lol for the first time in over an hour.

p.s. Fuck deductibles, OOP expenses, networks, and vile corporate greed in general.

The thyroid medication is wild.

At first, I would’ve gnawed on my walls if they were edible. Never felt an appetite like that in my entire life.

It mellowed out, then the giant dose increase has made me rabid for food over the past two days in particular.

I feel like a Taxxon from Animorphs.

That's the funniest distinction I've seen for a word that has different American vs. British English spelling.

I've heard of "the bastardization" of a word in a colloquially jokey way, but not the "corruption". 😆

The Guardian is making the right headlines.

Most news sources' headlines kept harping on the kills and omitting the other attempt that put the other congressman into critical care.

The msm has a major problem with focusing on death only. Maiming, disability, and psychological trauma matter too.

Fantastic signage out there today.

Today’s news is too fucking much.

Boeing crash, CA Senator battered and cuffed, California everything…

Now this?

Look. I know what everyone is talking about rn.

(🍊🥊🐀🍿🙄)

But I'm not weighing in on it b/c it's been said and done.

I just finished watching True Grit for the first time. I did NOT recognize Matt Damon the entire time.

Credits rolled and I couldn't believe it.
