Agriculture is huge in Central CA.. Much of the labor is done by immigrants. Yet there's been hardly any ICE action there. Why? Because the owners are heavy GOP contributors. See how they vote. In CA22 they elected Devin Nunes several times. This is about protecting illegal employers.

Immigrants are hard workers, in fact the hardest workers in the country. They are also the most vulnerable to wage theft & extortion.
