Noticed a BT engineer up the pole at the end of the drive, so naturally I quizzed him!
Nice chap, he explained the whole FTTP process with an install date of around March!
TBH that was later than expected, but it appears the exchange isn't fibre-ready yet, so they've got their work cut out.

Diving into old backups for this desktop toy video, I found a pile of toys I'd forgotten about - I had no idea I'd done so many of the blummin' things.
One was "Mandy" - a character from a cartoon strip for the Daily Mirror. She delivered news headlines direct to your desktop.

If you're a bit weird, like me, you may enjoy the MIT lectures on quantum physics. They're quite long, so I recommend watching at 1.25x, as long as your brain doesn't turn to mush.
