Cable news keeps warning us the Minneapolis video is “disturbing.” Americans need to see images far more disturbing. With families’ permission, the news should air pictures of the bodies of shooting victims. Of a head blown apart by ICE, of children’s body parts. We need to be truly disturbed.

Many years ago there was a movie in which an innocent man is labeled a terrorist after his death, as a cover-up. It still gives me nightmares. And now we’re all watching it happen.

Today in 1902 New York City enacted a law against men on the street “looking at a woman in that way”. First offense of the anti-flirting measure carried a $25 fine. Offend again and you could be made to wear a pair of horse blinders! The law is still on the books today.

I fully support everything Meidas Touch stands for, but I finally had to tell YouTube not to recommend its videos anymore. The titles are so needlessly overheated and fraudulent (Trump In Tears; Melania Smashing Plates; Leavitt Leaps to Her Death; etc) that the videos always disappoint.

Anyone remember a big article from the New York Times magazine in the early 80’s that boldly, ridiculously claimed that rock was dead, and that the tombstone was the big expensive “failure”’of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”? I thought it was by Seymour Hersh but that must be wrong. Google can’t find it.
