I haven’t received my invitation for @gandersocial.bsky.social social yet.

But I’m imagining they’re holding back on purpose to build suspense for my fashionably late arrival.

Right…?

I’m back.

Thanks everyone for being considerate.
Heading out for a bit.

Please don’t try to find me and tackle me.

Just not in the mood for it today.

Stuart McLean was one of the most beloved storytellers and humorists in Canadian history.
Known as the Story-Telling Comic, his stories explored both humorous and serious themes.
His show, Vinyl Cafe, was acclaimed.
This is his story.

“I don't eat cold sandwiches often but when I do, I'm rarely disappointed.” - @mcgarrygirl78.bsky.social

Best thing I’ve read on the internet all day. Possibly all week.

Update: I went with THREE maraschino cherries.
1. I was at a bookstore today.

b) I’m still pretty good at jumping.

iii - Dessert tonight will be some chocolate pudding, with a dollop of whipped cream and a maraschino cherry on top.

Access to healthcare (especially for back pain) in rural and northern Ontario can be challenging.

This helps make it a little easier.

Prompted by something I saw on TV:

Do you have a personal hero? And if so, who? And why?

Officials confirm that Canada will no longer supply the US with chocolate microscopes until the US reinstates vaccine mandates.

Also milk chocolate microscopes are better than dark chocolate microscopes, and anyone who claims otherwise is lying to themselves.

You can really tell they’re not AI by that last check mark.

For many today is Valentine’s Day. But to me it will always be February 14.

Hey Mark, aren’t those the sam-

Yup… it will always be February 14.

When I’m feeling down about things, when it seems like there’s nothing good anymore, I remind myself that the world came together, from individuals to nations, and said with one voice I guess we’ll just go with Ritter Sport being an acceptable name for a chocolate bar.

This is topical.

And given the prevalent anti-AI sentiment I expect to see a substantial uptick in bookings.

Or at least re-posts.
Have back pain?

I’m not AI. Let’s connect.

Something I’d like to say…

When you’re eating some chocolate, and you alternate it with sips of hot tea or coffee, and it cleanses the palate so that the next bite of chocolate tastes fresh and new and doesn’t just blend in with the previous bite… I like that.

The change from Olympics to Olympix is how you… that’s how you can tell it’s AI.

Did you know…?

The majority of back pain will get better on its own, and it doesn’t require seeing a specialist, getting imaging, or paying money for specific treatments.

That’s it. That’s good news.

Something neat…

Using diapers as the punchline of a joke against anyone is ableist, and hurtful. Even when the “joke” is about a politician.

I didn’t always know this. And maybe you’re just learning it for the first time now.

The great news is that you can take the feedback and stop doing it.
