✔️ YES: A video that shows an electric school bus fire in Montreal is genuine.

❌ NO: The video is not evidence that electric school buses are prone to fires or more dangerous than traditional buses. And the fire was not caused by the EV battery.

Great impact with this reporting from Bill. Glad to see platforms remove seemingly harmless accounts so they can't be used to spread more nefarious misinformation
NEW:

I uncovered dozens of YouTube and TikTok pages churning out AI-generated messages delivered in the pope’s voice or attributed to him.

YouTube terminated 17 such channels and demonetized six others following our investigation, while TikTok removed 11 accounts.

Especially since the convoy in Ottawa caught global attention, misinformation about Canada has originated or been amplified on Tenet Media shows
How far-right influencers are weaponizing Canada as a warning to Americans — and why it’s also changing the way we see ourselves.

Right-wing influencers often present a distorted version of Canada that sloshes back into the real-world, possibly shifting Canadians’ views of their own country.
