April/Birthday update. So late and need to do May-July lol but my wife gave me an amazing 27th birthday and the graduate ball was so fun. I had an amazing time goofing off playing games with my sisters and even more fun in lab this spring after SRI. Cheers deers! #hbd2me #twentyseven #

March Update: #SRI2025 in Charlotte was a blast, I emceed the JHU-AFSP out of the darkness walk, which was an honor, and celebrated the birthdays of my two closest friends with a joint B-day party and homemade-ish birthday cake. Also, my beautiful wife starts nursing school less than a month!!!

I don’t understand how faculty can watch as international students here on visas, green cards, etc., people they’ve worked with for years, can just watch them be detained illegally by law enforcement. I can’t let my colleagues go quietly. If you’re a US citizen who works in a lab with (1/2)

Feb updates: Married life is quite wonderful, I lost 50 pounds but my cats are obese 🥲, best friend and I celebrated 16 years of friendship by making bracelets, the hair has been hairing, and I’m 2.5 manuscripts and a thesis defense away from graduation this year. Wowza 🤩🫶🏼

My wife & I went thrifting and I absolutely love all the fun weird and nostalgic Knick knacks in the homewares section. Anyone else growing up in the early 2000s have the weirdest 90s items items to decorate their room? Found this egg person. Immediately purchased as a Xmas gift for my sister. 😂

Personally I am of the opinion that video games rot your brain. However, so does everything else. In fact, everything else is worse. Video games actually are the slowest means towards your inevitable and total brain rot.

As a drug delivery scientist, I’m constantly wondering what the next delivery breakthrough will be. We’ve seen it all from more targeted methods for local admin like dendrimers, lipid nano particles and hydrogels, innovations in oral capsules for sustained or extended release.

So, I’m graduating with a PhD in Pharmacology with a focus in women’s health next spring/fall, & I’ve decided to apply to medical school to continue my training. Currently, a ton of MCAT slots are taken, & a timeline for 2026 suggests I should take it by end of spring. Any advice? #medschool #mcat
