I hate the way people are being pitted against each other. The implication is that unless your qualifications include white skin and a penis, you can't really be qualified for anything. Skin colour and bodily appendages are not qualifications.

Trump posted this horrible video on TS. He is getting some backlash from fundamentalist Christian supporters who object to the giant golden statue of Trump (rather than Jesus) and the scene of Trump in a club with a belly dancer, but not the eviction of millions of people from their homes.
Turn the sound on. You will need to watch it a couple of times to catch all the details like the bearded male belly dancers.
Complete batshit lunacy on the president's Truth Social account. Yes, he really posted this.

Ontarians, make sure you vote on Feb. 27!
This is really important! You don't need a voter card to vote, and you don't need a driver's license either. Check www.elections.on.ca/en/voting-in... for a list of acceptable IDs, and bring a piece of mail with your name & address (bill, report card, etc.).

1. The difference so far (and for god's sake let's keep it that way) between X and Bluesky is not between right and left but between abuse and respect.
A good society is built on mutual respect. But what does this mean?

Yes, thank you! 🪶🐍🦑🦊 feeds, PLEASE use alt text. So post below for how to turn on a setting so you don’t forget. It makes a huge accessibility difference and can be quick and easy, just write a line or two describing what’s in your image!
New to @bsky.app? We’ve got some etiquette just for you!

Turn on the little feature that reminds you to post alt text with your images. Alt text allows blind and partially sighted people to understand what's in your images using screen readers. Without alt text, it just says "image".
