Disability scholar here yet again to remind you that dropping COVID protections and getting “back to normal” facilitated their vision.
It’s exhausting to point out yet again that abandoning disabled people is eugenics, and eugenics feeds the rise of fascism and to have most ppl just…ignore it

Good news department, if needed: Several nice folks in a Portland neighborhood this morning spent hours rescuing a lost bunny from a storm drain. Bun was terrified and at risk of cars, but fine now. There's a lovely photo of the rescuers celebrating w bun in carrier. (not sharing photo re privacy)

When I pass a #straight #couple on the street, & man seems sincerely interested in what the woman is saying/doing & kind of visibly dotes on her, I get a warm, fuzzy feeling, but it doesn’t happen as often as you’d think.
