"Universal health care" as a concept has been Democratic Party orthodoxy for 30 years. The governor really needs to expand on what she means here. She hasn't mentioned Medicare for All, so what does she think the route to UHC is? These details matter.
Health care is a human right, and nothing short of universal health care is acceptable.

ICE data from Maine last year shows what we've come to expect: The vast majority of individuals apprehended over the past 2 years were not convicted of crimes, and a substantial portion had no criminal charges whatsoever.
