Perfect timing for a Christmas present.
I thank @ciko_geo for his tenacity and patience as the lead author of this paper. We got the first embryonic idea of this paper when I was a PhD student in #London and he was developing a research placement...

Love to see this.

When I lived in west London* and worked in the library quite a bit, the staff and security were always super-shitty to homeless people who came in to read the papers and keep warm…

And before northerners say, “this is a London thing”…no, it’s really, really not…
WARM SPACES IN WHALEY BRIDGE
During cold weather, a number of public buildings offer a place where you can pop in and get warm if you're struggling to keep your home heated. In Whaley Bridge these are Footsteps café and Holy Trinity Church.

I noticed that many more seismologists, #earthquake geologists and people who post about eqs arrived in the last few weeks. If you're not in our starter pack yet and want to be featured, please give me a sign! I'll add you ASAP. Same goes if you want to be removed from it. ⚒️🧪

Nearly there for the submission. Great job done by Andrea on the characterization of these submarine palaeoshorelines mapped in the Marzamemi offshore, SE Sicily. Let's hope for a fair and constructive review, something that Andrea deserves after all her efforts.
