For the first time in many years I took the time to work on a personal map, going back to the roots, and it was good.

Another oldie I really enjoy named The Twin Rivers.
Classic fantasy map of a small county crossed by two rivers. It shows farms, bridges, forts, a great forest, dwarven mines, a halfling village and other notable places like an academy. At the center of the map is the city of Wellmet.

Let's start with one of my very fist attempts at map making with the Divided Land.

Y'all, I am VERY excited to introduce you to one of my new favorite Tolkien artists: Kay Woollard (1924-2008).

Woollard first read LotR in '79 when she was 55. From then until her death, she was heavily involved in Tolkien fan culture, contributing illustrations to Tolkien Society publications.

I've had the honor of creating the cover art for "Sacrebleu !", the first french adventure compliation for Shadowdark soon to be published by @arkhaneasylum.bsky.social.
Big thanks to Mathieu and @sendoshi.bsky.social for having me on board, and of course to Kelsey Dionne for such an amazing game !

But please, do continue to use GenAI slop thumbnails for your YouTube videos, or your album art, or your book covers or whatever else. I'll continue to refuse to watch/listen/read any of them, knowing already they're not worth the time & that you're a disappointing lazy hack.
