By day, a boring IT bloke. By night, a boring father of two & husband of one.
Fan of history, science, books and cricket. Brass band cornet player.
Left of centre, skeptic and humanist.
I tend to tweet in the bath... like a budgie.
I wonder how many people who are criticising the lifting of the two child cap on benefits by saying “if you can’t afford them, don’t have them”, were happy to accept child benefit for their own children.

Should Gibb be sacked? yes, obviously. He's an abomination of basic journalistic standards. His GB News channel spreads conspiracy theory & disinformation. His Jewish Chronicle newspaper spreads invented stories. He is plainly trying to undermine the BBC so it's as bad as everything else he touches.

The prime minister, Winston Churchill earlier made a powerful speech saying that ‘…we will never surrender’.
And now, for balance here in the studio is Lord Haw-Haw.

On this day in 1605 Robert Catesby’s plan to assassinate King James I by blowing up the Houses of Parliament was in operation.
A minor player, Guy Fawkes was sitting in the cellar guarding the gunpowder slightly bitter that Catesby would get all the credit whilst his contribution would be forgotten

Less than a month after PPE Medpro ordered to pay back £120m+ 🤦🏻‍♂️

My 14-year-old self would never have guessed that, in 50 years' time, all the world's music would be available at the click of a button, you'd navigate the globe by carrying a tiny computer around in your pocket, and the US President would post a video of himself shitting over American citizens.

People are waiting years for mental health support but then end up in A&E in crisis.

It’s time we treat mental health as seriously as physical health.

Although Tony Blair’s association with Epstein may be a concern, the real elephant in the room was the deception of Parliament that took us into a war against Iraq.

It’s an insult. Nobel is a very bad guy. Everyone says he’s a bad man. I’ve said I expect to win the peace prize in two weeks time or very bad things will happen to him.
Who is Nobel anyway? Has anyone met him? I’ve heard things about dynamite and it’s not good. #trump

The Green Party seems to be saying all the right things at the moment.
Mental health doesn't take a day off.

The Green Party is committed to ensuring mental health and physical health care are equally prioritised.

That means funding major improvements in mental health care - so that all of us can access the support we need, when we need it.

Paracetamol cures headaches, which increases the chance of sex, which increases the chance of pregnancy, which increases the chance of children being born with autism.
I’ve proven a link.

I think my evidence is more compelling than Trump’s.

Now that Trump has discovered the cause of autism is Paracetamol, does that mean that vaccines are ok now?

I’ve done a study, and there is a clear link between children with autism and their births being two weeks either side of a full moon.

No contribution for schools, hospitals, roads, defence, public services, welfare etc.
Still, that Angela Rayner eh? Too big for her boots

One thing the English used to mock America for is their obsession with flags.
It turns out they now want their own Trump and it’s become acceptable to vandalise anything coloured white by painting a red cross on it.

I’m watching football.
Man United 0, Grimsby 2 at the moment.

It strikes me that seeing as there are two teams that herald from Manchester, the label of ‘United’ is a bit of a misnomer.

We all have our own view as to which sins and transgressions from scripture are the serious ones and which can be overlooked.
Do God and the mutually Devil agree who goes where? Do they have a quota that perhaps follows a bell curve or is it a strict ‘x number of sins’ threshold?
