this is pretty simple, "baby yoda" is a cute name with good round syllables that are nice to say and "grogu" is a gross dogshit name that sounds like it literally means 'dogshit'
re: disney and star wars, the fact that even news outlets still refer to grogu as Baby Yoda in 2024 says a hell of a lot
