Am I the asshole for thinking that Democrats shouldn't vote to keep the government open unless Republicans put back ALL the funding for Medicaid? So what if farmers lose some land, they voted for this. It's not like Democrats will lose voters over it.

My compassion has boundaries and is reserved for the innocent. Charlie Kirk was not innocent. He was a purveyor of hate speech vitriol. His wife and kids are innocent and deserve compassion and empathy. That is all.
