I read Lord of the Flies as a kid. It gave me the chills.
Still, I’m glad I had teachers that exposed us to books that exposed us the dark side of humans and oppressive systems.

L of the F scared the living crap out of me every time I read it because I felt it was raw human nature. I still wouldn't pick it up again. AF was less scary.
