If these people in the Epstein files aren’t held accountable to the full extent of the law I will lose all faith in what little system we have left. Hold them all accountable. Get them all out of power. Expel them all. Their wealth redistributed to the victims. Lock them up. Throw away the keys.

Thrift stores suck now. My whole life I‘ve shopped primarily at thrift. For the last few years with influencer thrifting haul fads, pickers, mixed with the influx of cheap shit SHEIN/Temu garbage its near impossible to find anything worth buying.

Today I walked into a ReStore to look for old Barbie movies for my kid. I didn’t find any Barbie movies but found a nearly new Otterbox phone case for my ancient iPhone SE For 55 cents. My old case was falling to pieces. Today I beat inflation by shopping used and supported a rad nonprofit! Win-win!

I need a lawyer that helps with insurance appeals. This is exhausting and it’s just going to get worse next year.

It’s looking like insurance will not cover my biologic medication next year. I can’t imagine going back to how much pain I was in before I started that life saving medication. I’m trying to figure out options because out of packet it’s $100k per year. There’s no way.

Yesterday I picked out several glasses frames online that I liked. All under budget for my insurance coverage. This morning I logged in to finalize my order and get my glasses and two of the four pairs I had saved went up in price by $200 overnight.

As a bystander on the opposite coast, watching the oligarchs/establishment attack Mamdani for the last several months has been cringe. They aren’t even hiding their racism, classism & absolute distain for the working class anymore. But the response from NYC voters is motivation to keep up the fight.

The sleep paralysis has come back. So have the night terrors. I’ve had them since I was a kid. I was stable, doing well.…coping with life. The last year has taken its toll. I’m terrified of losing what little stability I have built up around me. Watching everything crumble is spiking anxiety…

Everyone has so much to say, it just rattles & echoes around the internet smashing up against each nook & cranny in hopes of being heard. Every corner it hits is one way glass being seen, never heard. We just continue shouting hoping someone will hear but nobody is coming. Nobody will ever come.

For the last year I’ve been buying an extra bag of dry beans/rice/pasta when we got groceries. I had this feeling they would pull this card eventually. I’m glad I did b/c in the very least I can make my kid beans and rice for the next six months. She may get real sick of it but it’ll keep her fed.

1/2: Now that open enrollment is in full swing those that had any kind of OTC benefit for “healthy foods” may see that next year it will be considerably less. That’s because VBID programs end 12/31/25. Some plans are filling in with a SSBCI program but that significantly less. This & no SNAP….
