I’ve had gastroparesis for about two years now. It’s not any better. I’ve seen 3 dieticians none had advice. I’m tired of puréed and liquid food. I’m just tired. Headed into 3rd level appeal w/ an ALJ for liquid nutrition. It’s taken 18mnths to get to a specialist. I’m not sure they will help.

I’m worried about feeding my kid next year. I’ve been using my health insurance OTC healthy food allotment of $225/m to get her groceries. That goes down to $42/m starting in Jan. How am I going to keep buying her healthy food?

I love the calm that a holiday brings. Being no contact with family means a day of rest and peace and quiet. I’m leisurely making food for my kid and watching her play animal crossing. My cat has been sleeping on my lap. The perfect low stress day.

Food holidays really suck when you have Gastroparesis but I’m determined to still cook yummy for for my kid. I just get to sip my liquid food while she plows through a roast Turkey, cranberry, olives, pie and all her faves.

It’s a terrible time to have a kid who is really really into Pokémon TCG. May all these scalpers and grifter lose all their money and move on from TCG in disgrace so collectors and CHILDREN can get back to what they love.

I can’t celebrate the house vote to release the files today…..because it seems too convenient that suddenly every Republican voted yes…I don’t trust them at all. I won’t celebrate until they are released and every single creep is held accountable.

My local librarians did a solid by bringing this to the outreach library yesterday. They bring the BEST books!

Thrift stores suck now. My whole life I‘ve shopped primarily at thrift. For the last few years with influencer thrifting haul fads, pickers, mixed with the influx of cheap shit SHEIN/Temu garbage its near impossible to find anything worth buying.

Today I walked into a ReStore to look for old Barbie movies for my kid. I didn’t find any Barbie movies but found a nearly new Otterbox phone case for my ancient iPhone SE For 55 cents. My old case was falling to pieces. Today I beat inflation by shopping used and supported a rad nonprofit! Win-win!

I need a lawyer that helps with insurance appeals. This is exhausting and it’s just going to get worse next year.
