It’s rough out there! I applied for housing in 2012 after I had my kid. I couldn’t find anything so I had to move out of state with family or be homeless. I moved back to WA and stayed on the list. 11 years later my name came up as “near the top“. I hope Katie Wilson can address the housing crisis.

The cost of this will be enormous And it will not change how many people are on SNAP. It’s going to create a massive amount of work for caseworkers. It’s absolutely asinine.….but so is everything else that’s happening right now.

If housing was more affordable I’d move back to Seattle in a heartbeat. I miss it up there. So much to do, so many good people. So much art and culture.
