This is not "research" you don't even have the correct pricing. Cooling Credits pricing:

$1 per CC when you subscribe to a monthly plan (self-serve, cancel at any time).
$5 per CC for a one-time purchase of 1,000 units or less.
$1 per CC for a one-time purchase of 1,001 units or more

I guess I'm not understanding why bsky is not a forum for a debate. Do you expect to post shit analysis and not have people respond and just nod their heads like your words are gospel? FYI, I'm not going on your shitty podcast so you can make money off your shit analysis and pander to your audience.

Did you write this paper because there are papers about how CO2 emissions and GHGs are ungovernable, increasing global temps so it's currently destabilizing world security, which might lead to wars? Therefore, the opposite must be true by trying to cool it down?

These authors give scientists a bad name, they fail to provide scientific, empirical, or policy-based proof that Make Sunsets is a “serious risk.” Instead, they rely on speculation and ideological assumptions without demonstrating harm, unintended consequences, or negative governance effects.
Not only is market-based climate governance inadequate, non-transformative and unjust, it also dangerously results in companies selling “cooling credits” trying to profit from solar geoengineering. Check out our new research www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

➡️There are only 2 ways to cool the planet this century: (1) carbon removal; (2) stratospheric aerosol injection.

➡️Cutting emissions doesn't cool the planet; it only stops further warming.

This actually sounds plausible even to my unscientific brain. I will follow you and read more about it. My only question is how will you convince MTG and all those people who think chemtrails are a government plot to kill them that this isn’t just another plot to kill the whole world?😁

You're thinking of Charm Industrial that puts a negligible amount of bio oil into the ground. We're trying to actually make a difference rather than watch the world burn.

Seriously, share numbers on how many solar panels you've actually installed and how much of CO2 you've offset in 2023 and 2024 because the panels no longer burn fossil fuels and what the fully loaded cost was @cynan.bsky.social. You've got my full attention.

Holy fucking shit, I just looked at your website and I can't even tell what you've done to cool down Earth, I tried to quantify it using ChatGPT. We're just two people and have spent less than $800K to offset the warming of 90,000 tons of CO2. How much as your org spent in the last two years?

The problems of SAI are better than allowing the world to heat up. What all reporters fail to share is risk of doing SAI vs. risk of not doing it [1]. This has been modeled extensively and now we're taking the next step and increasing our deployments.

Agreed, but we're not even close to stopping the burning, 82% of the world is still reliant on fossil fuels, if we can decouple the warming from the emissions using SAI, don't you think it's worth fixing temporarily until we can transition to cleaner energy?

Unfortunately that's not going to happen. AI is starting to wake up and it's going to use a lot of fossil fuels until data centers go nuclear power. We're only going to burn more fossil fuels in this next decade. You should know this as a sysadmin.

There is a lot of money going into cutting back our CO2 emissions, but we're not moving fast enough. Yes, putting mirrors in space & CCS is not ready for primetime, but there is an inexpensive method that biomimics volcanos that can buy time: unchartedterritories.tomaspueyo.com/p/so2-inject...

Please stop making stuff up, acid rain is dependent on quantity and location. Peak SO2 emissions was 130 million tons in 1980. In 2022, 69M tons in the troposphere. We need to only shift 1M tons of SO2 into the stratosphere (higher up) to get 0.5 C of cooling. www.cremieux.xyz/p/from-pollu...
