Did a little work on the Constantine piece today. Still have quite a bit left to do, but it's coming together! Working in Rebelle 5. Still recording the timelapse, so part 2 of that video will be coming out after I finish the painting.

It feels so good to paint again without it feeling like pulling teeth.
I am, in fact, arting today. Here's our favorite disaster magician, John Constantine.
WIP; finished up the underpainting. He's too far over to the left though; gonna need to scoot him over before adding color.
I've been capturing the timelapse, so when it's done I'll share that!

I did a little painting tonight. I didn't try to force it to be good. Didn't spend hours digging up references-- didn't use a reference at all. Didn't even really have a plan. Or a sketch. I just dove in and created and it felt good.

Only problem with stirring cinnamon into your coffee for a little magical boost in the mornings? It never dissolves properly and you sometimes get a gritty mouthful if you drain your cup too much.
Still, though, love the flavor of cinnamon coffee!

We moved back into our new/old house a couple weeks ago! We're still getting settled in, unpacking a little at a time so we don't all overextend ourselves (we all have some form of chronic illness). It's really good to be back home, even if things are not quite the same.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Nidal. Prior to the war Nidal ran a small bird farm and lived in Khuza with his family, including his kids Rimas, 12, Qais, 10, Sanam, 8 and Rukan and Razan, both 4. Nidal only recently started raising money so he could rebuild and needs help❤️
