Disabled Repro Lawyer, Abortion Funder, LOTR Nerd and all around neurodivergent loudmouth.
I find it infinitely entertaining that I am pretty sure my boss reviews my briefs almost primarily to regulate the amount of snark I direct at the State. 😂 I find my arguments not only persuasive but hilarious. #AttorneyAtSnark

The ableism surrounding the idea of Biden using a wheelchair is just too much. COME ON! We push people to stay on their feet for what? Mobility aides would keep them safe (avoiding falls & breaks) and more able to participate in all aspects of public life. Stop using the word confined. Please.

Adriana Smith was a young mom and Emory Hospital nurse who tragically lost her life in February while nine weeks pregnant.

Georgia’s abortion ban is forcing Adriana’s family — against their wishes — to keep her body on a ventilator for 7 months to incubate the fetus.

The cruelty is unfathomable.

This part! My life is NOT more valuable than my SIL’s because I have a job, pay taxes, or am getting married! Stop reinforcing ableist and eugenic talking points by trying to prove their gaslighting wrong. Disabled folks are loved & important full stop protect us all!
Guys, I love all of you, but the answer to RFK, Jr. is not that autistic adults hold jobs, pay taxes, and get laid, it's that everyone deserves to live even if they can't work, pay taxes, or get laid.

You know the *only* reason he got out so fast was a reporter live posted about this for hours. And, a large amount of public pressure.

Every time someone gets grabbed, there has to be a robust public response immediately.

It's genuinely hard to express to sort of normal not politically plugged in non-lawyers *how* lawless the Trump administration is, and I think that's some part of the problem.

You sound like you're hyperventilating, but it's just a flat description of what is going on.

Abrego Garcia wasn’t deported. He was kidnapped. He’s not in a prison. He’s in a 💀 camp. He was denied his right to due process and everyone in the U.S., including those without legal status, have constitutional rights to due process under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments. 1/

As a millennial litigator there are two wolves inside me, one loves the flexibility and environmental benefits of digital docs, the other desperately needs hard copies for anything longer than 5 pages. 🫠

Trying to talk myself out of printing a +400pg depo so I can “really” read it.

Even if you (wrongly) believe that some immigrants lack due process rights, what’s to stop the government from claiming that *you* are an undocumented immigrant; removing you to El Salvador; citing an “administrative error”; and refusing to do anything to bring you back?

The answer is due process.
