For anyone else deeply confused by RFK’s recent word salad, here’s the explanation.
There is a wellness concept pushed by Casey Means, RFK Jr's choice for Surgeon General, that "mitochondrial dysfunction" is the root cause of chronic and age-related disease. I'm sure that's what RFK refers to, not MELAS syndrome and Leber's optic neuropathy.
