Excellent. The Russian call for elections in Ukraine is ridiculous given Russia’s dictatorship.

Hi All, Just sent this out. We are witnessing a historical failure to understand the limits on US power. People honestly talk about the US detaching Russia from China, when what we are seeing is a depressing detaching of the US from its democratic allies by Ru/Ch. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

Notable message from President Zelensky. The USA is clearly putting pressure on Ukraine to hand over more of its land to dictatorial Russia.

Good to see the Ukrainian pushback--but the USA should hang its head in shame.

Orban is not just an authoritarian leader; he is also close to both Russia and China. The Western alliance would benefit from his defeat. The problem is that Trump is pursuing his personal political agenda, not the agenda of the US as understood by presidents of both parties. wapo.st/4aEwTvC

How Hungary is fuelling the Kremlin’s war machine
Hungary is buying Russian oil despite alternative supplies being available, according to a report that accuses Budapest of failing to pass down to consumers the savings it makes from buying cheap Russian fuels.

Not enough attention is given to the fact that Trump has not only ended all US aid to Ukraine but is actively exploiting the onslaught against Ukrainians to make profit - which he openly and regularly brags about to Americans.
